「Apple Magic Mouse」として認識されているのだが、
システム環境設定ではフツーのマウスのメニューしか出てこない。
結論から言うと、この場合の犯人はUSBOverdriveだった。
My personal culprit was USB Overdrive. Had to use the uninstaller instead of just deleting the preference pane. After that, it's working.
I think it's the fact that USB Overdrive and other mouse utilities override the magic mouse's drivers that you install, so it's causing a conflict. USB Overdrive says he's working on supporting the Magic Mouse, so hopefully that'll come out soon.

しかも、システム環境設定で右クリックで「取り除く」とするだけではダメで、
ちゃんと「USBOverdriveアンインストーラー」を使わないとダメですよと。
他のマウスのドライバともconflictする可能性があるので、注意。
この画面にたどり着くまでが長かった...
こういう情報は、日本語の情報が少なくて困る。
